Medlefors’ vision is of everyone’s equal worth and everyone’s equal rights. The school is the non-profit association of Norrlands folk high schools, formed by organisations within the labour movement. Medlefors works for a society characterised by freedom, justice, equality, equality and solidarity. Medlefors takes a stand for the values of the workers’ movement and shares faith in all people’s equal value and all are equally welcome.

Medlefors FolkhogskolaThe combination of folk high school and course and conference facilities is very enriching. Those studying short and long courses have access to first class food and nice premises. Conference guests have the opportunity to enrich their stay with the help of good professional teachers. Medlefors wants to be a place for people’s meetings framed by a good environment as well as good and well-prepared food! Profile areas are public health and work environment, but there are other courses on offer with have the opportunity to conduct collaborative courses with organisations and nonprofit organisations.

The school, based in Skellefteå, has approximately 200 students on long courses and 300 short courses each year, mainly with the principal organisations and the disability movement.

The combination of folk high school and conference facilities is very enriching for everyone. The school is accessible for disabled people and available to people with visual impairment, hearing loss, deafblindness, allergies and/ or wheelchair users.
